Rotating Exhibit

Our Rotating Exhibit was introduced in September, 2022. The exhibit is located on the first floor in the lobby area. Wall images and display items are featured. The Rotating Exhibit is replaced every two months with a new display. Visit the museum Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.

The current exhibit honors the U.S. Coast Guard on the Siuslaw River. The station was commissioned in 1917. Among other valued services, they provide search and rescue, enforce boat safety and escort vessels across the Siuslaw bar (averaging about 175 cases each year). The display is located on the first floor in the Museum lobby. Visitors are welcome Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
